Kazu known far and wide as a skilled swordsman. Born of the beastmen he would go on to fight to solidify his importance. Having been bested only once in combat. He entered a blood rage severing the victors head with his bare hands on the battlefield. He went on to kill allies and foe alike. This event led to the immediate surrender of the opposing army in exchange for his 'suppossed' execution.

Figured I'd elaborate on the story. Kazu born of the beast race to a less than prodigious family was thrust into combat the moment he was able to lift a stick. It was first for his family, then for his people and before he he knew it his entire existence was to live fight and die for not honor, money, or even his on satisfaction. The war between the humans and beasts had been long Kazu had slain many and garnered infamy throughout the capital. In an effort to boost his self worth a man challenged Kazu. The stakes were clear the loser would die and his army would force unconditional surrender.. Empowered by his many victories, Kazu agreed the opponent proved to be more than capable of beating the red beast. As Kazu lay staring at the storm clouds forming in the sky he thought of what it meant for his people, slavery once more. He snapped rising from the ground he cleaved the opponents head off using a bound weapon, a sword said to have been tempered in the fires of his resolve. Despite holding the champions head in his hand he didn't stop he went on to kill for a full night even dispatching his own comrades who beseeched him to stop. Upon being returned to the capital he was imprisoned. After a month had passed he was brought forth before the courts who told him that he would be executed in exchange for the wars end. His people would be free and able to travel the lands as equals. Startled he did not resist. Before his final day he was said to be smiling.

Got bored and as a New Years gift/resolution I underwent redrawing Kazu as the initial drawings were hastily put together on the computer

Could give a reason why the Phoenix Knights went racist against allowing beastmen into their ranks >.>

Truthfully there isn't much detail into beast tribes at this time. There could have been a war between the two (oh god, another war) that could explain the rarity in them). Worse comes to worse he could be a remnant of the Sin War and went (is) insane by the horrible battle.

The drawing is awesome, and such a tragic story to go with it, I love it.
