Great resources! one of my old teachers actually showed me a great collection of free books. Andrew Loomis has an awesome collection and i use them frequently for reference to human anatomy for when i sculpt. i hope this helps anyone!

Is this just for drawing based resources or all art based resources (I've got some music resources)?

For anyone looking to learn about drawing, illustration, or making manga, I'd recommend Mark Crilley's YouTube channel. The man is seriously talented, and I'm not just talking about his artwork. I've never enjoyed learning quite so much as when watching his videos.

If you'd like to learn about Flash animation, Josiah Brooks is an excellent teacher. He also does illustrations and general art advice from time to time, and he's got a little store with very affordable reference packs.

If you'd like to learn traditional animation (hand-drawn, no symbols) then AMB Animation Academy is certainly a fine choice!

Wanna be an indie-game developer? CG Cookie is chock full of tutorials on everything from concept art to 3D modelling to programming. You have to buy a subscription to get most of it, but there's a lot of free stuff there if you can't afford $18 a month.
